Spatial Data Visualization Classes at Stamen are Back!

I’m pleased to announce that we’re offering our popular mapping and visualization classes again this year, in our Mission District studio in San Francisco! This pair of classes focusses on how to design and build interactive online maps using the latest open source visualization tools.

Learn how to combine data and design to make beautiful maps!

In the first class on May 28th, you’ll learn the landscape of online cartography and get hands-on experience designing with geospatial data. In the second class on June 4th, we’ll get technical and start working with map projections, data structures, and more advanced visualization techniques. The two classes are meant to work as a pair, but you can sign up for either one if you wish.
